TRUSTING GOD: THE PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE

Bring Your Blank Journals To Life | Easy and Effective Manifestation Journal Ideas

Words have more power than anything I can place a finger on.

In our religion, we are taught mantras to overcome various problems in life, to make our life better, and to raise our vibrations.

In the teachings of the law of attraction, we are taught affirmations to reprogram our subconscious mind.

Mantra and affirmations are the same. They both have similar powers.

In fact, every word we say out loud, say in our mind, or read or listen to has a huge impact on our life.

Words shape our reality. Period.

So, why can't words breathe life in a blank notebook or journal?

Why don't you put those piles of blank journals to use and start creating your reality?

A blank journal can be your best friend if you know how to use it.

Journaling— not even that fancy art or decorative journaling— changed my life.

I have already said 'journaling changed my life' a million times or more and I'm going to say it for as long as I am alive.

If you are a beginner and don't know how to put your journals to the best use, stay with me.

I'm going to share a few ways that align with the law of attraction and manifestation. These are all tried and tested by me.

They all work. And there is no one way to do it. You can add your own twists to these and have fun with journaling.

So, let's get started.

1. Gratitude Journaling

I have talked about gratitude journaling here, here, and here. I love this form of journaling.

I first learned about gratitude journals from the book The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. I started gratitude journaling in 2015 and never stopped doing it.

Gratitude is your shortcut to having it all in your life and more.

The best part about gratitude journaling? Absolutely anyone can do it — be it a kid or an adult.

It's good to instil the habit of thankfulness early in your child.

All you have to do to write in a gratitude journal is to list, at least, three things that you are grateful for. There is no limit to how long you want your list to be but for starters, listing three things every day helps prevent making this practice overwhelming.

It will hardly take you a minute each day to count and write three blessings in your life.

So, grab a fresh blank notebook and start writing today.

PS: you can do it at any time of the day but people prefer to do gratitude journaling either in the morning or at night. But, honestly, there are no rules.

2. Affirmations

Whatever we say or think or listen, we affirm. Telling yourself that you are sick is an affirmation. Telling yourself that you are healthy is an affirmation.

So, why not tell ourselves the positive things and feed our minds with all the high vibes rather than listening to the circumstances or other people?

Affirmations or mantras are positive sentences that we repeat to ourselves to reprogram our subconscious mind.

Affirmations can be as simple as: I am healthy. I am wealthy. I am loved. I am wise. God is with me. God loves me.

Now, you must be thinking what's a blank journal got to do with this.

Here's the thing. When we write something with our hand, we engage all our senses in the task and moment.

Writing down affirmations has proven to be a game-changer for me. I am a fan of writing affirmations.

Just pick some of your favourite affirmations and start writing them daily in your journal.

You will be amazed at how powerful those blank notebooks become when inked with the right words.

There are only two rules for affirmations:

  1. They are preferably written in the present tense. For example, I am rich. (But honestly, 'I will be rich' meaning, writing in future tense also works for me. It's about how much we believe in what we are writing that matters.)
  2. Do not use negative words. For example, don't write 'I will get rid of toxic people.' Instead, write 'I am surrounded by loving and caring people in my life.'

3. Scripting

Scripting for the law of attraction or scripting for manifestation is a journaling practice in which you describe your dream life in the present tense.

You write an ideal day in your life as if you are already living it. You describe your dream job as if you are already working on it.

For example, you can script that, "I am so grateful to wake up in a house full of positive vibes and to go to a job that pays me well for doing what I love doing. I love the environment of our workplace and everyone is so understanding and supportive."

This is how you script and feel the emotions/feelings of being in your imagined or described reality.

You can do this as many times as you like and with as many wishes as you have.

Rules:

  • Make it in the present tense and write as if you are already living your dreams.
  • Feel the joy now of already living the kind of life you desire.
  • Let go. Once you are done, don't worry about when or how it will come to you. It's coming in its own divine timings.

4. Letters Journal

I write letters to God. If you don't believe in God, you can write letters to the universe, your higher self, or even your future self.

I tell God about my worries and seek solutions in my letters to God. God answers them in His own beautiful ways and timings.

These letters can be a great way to hand over your worries to a higher power and believe that help is on the way.

You can also use these letters to express gratitude in advance to God/universe for the kind of life you dream of or desire to live.

Letters can be used in various ways and there is no wrong or right way to do it. It's your way that matters.

5. Uplifting Quotes Journal

Just like a gratitude journal, this too is an anyone-can-do-it journal.

I just came up with the idea of this journal as I was outlining this post.

My commonplace journal is full of quotes that keep me going on rough days.

You can dedicate a journal to such quotes and verses from spiritual texts that will instantly raise your vibes.

The internet is a storehouse of quotes and thoughts. Just look up some quotes each day and add them to your quotes journal.

This will help you overcome negativity and overthinking.

Every time you feel negative, worried, or upset, just open your journal and read through your collection of uplifting words, quotes, and verses.

If you're new to journaling, I highly recommend beginning with a gratitude or quotes journal as these are the easiest of all with zero to least resistance.

If you continue one of these practices for 21 days or more consistently, you will start witnessing and realising the power and miracles of journaling.

Such simple tools (a pen and a notebook), such a huge impact.
