Everyone wants to be loved.
That’s our basic human need and nature.
But how many of us want to give love freely?
We love, but when we do, it’s almost always tainted with expectations, jealousy, anger, frustration, and the need for reward.
Nobody loves anyone unconditionally except God and maybe a few other innocent souls.
A mother’s love is called pure and unconditional, and it’s often true, but that’s only because you birthed through her. But we all love our parents because they are the only ones who give us immeasurable love unconditionally and freely.
We are naturally attracted to those who are so full of love that they love loving.
When I see reels of couples, I get inclined towards the more loving partner, irrespective of the gender. I start respecting the person who loves their partner with all their heart.
They look charming on their own, and the one being loved? Not so much.
The aura of God is next level because God is the highest form of love. God knows how to love even the most tainted human hearts.
We are so attracted to the aura of God, aren’t we?
This kind of healthy love comes from a person who learned to love themselves enough to not seek it from others. They love giving love.
But to a fearful mind, this love feels boring.
They reject it because they feel undeserving of receiving it. So instead of recognising their insecurity, they start finding faults in a loving partner. They lived in survival mode for too long, so a “safe” partner looks like a threat or a scam.
To them, chaos feels alive and exciting. Calm scares them. Pure love seems suspicious and kindness seems fake.
Coming back to the reels, fake love can be spotted instantly too. Your mind and heart don’t get fixed on someone who’s showering love on their partner for the sake of making a reel.
Our mind can be deceived, but heart can’t. We just don’t feel inside our heart enough.
The best way to give and receive love fully and freely is to love ourselves enough first.
