Buy The Book of Infinite Writing Prompts

Many years back, someone inspired me to write poems and I never looked back. Now when people tell me that my words inspired them to start writing, I feel nothing but purely blessed. Even if you don't write yet, anyone—I repeat anyone—can be a writer. No matter what language you write in, if you have got something to tell and you can ink it well, you are a writer. When I started my writing journey, writing prompts were the best tool I had to polish my skills. I still write using prompts and I love them. So, I thought why not make prompts of my own and share them with you all. If this book turns out to be useful for, at least, one of you, my efforts put into the book will be paid off. (A simpler version of the book is now also available on Kindle worldwide. Check the link at the end of this page) Know that you don't have to be a writer to write but writing makes you a writer. You don't have to only write poems, you can write anything. You don't have to write only in Engli

The Shortest Book You Need To Read To Overcome Anxiety

Happy New Year, folks! Is it too early to ask how is 2022 treating you so far?

I have planned to blog twice a week this year, but let's see how it goes.

Having said that, this is my first blog post of 2022 and it is about the shortest book I have ever read.
I was flipping through my blog journal when I found the printed copy of the book lying inside my journal.

You must be thinking, how can a book fit into a journal?
Well, this one sure can because it's just six pages long, out of which you will need to read only four.
Honestly, most articles and essays are longer than this book.

So, the book that I am talking about is:
The Golden Key
by
Emmet Fox

I will give you the gist of the book in this post itself but it would be more helpful if you give it a read yourself. I will link the free PDF of the book at the end of this blog post.

Now, if you don't believe in God, you might not like this book but as the author says, "Do not try to form a picture of God, which is impossible. Work by rehearsing anything and everything you know about God. God is wisdom, truth, inconceivable love."

The gist of the book is in this quote:
"If you are thinking about your difficulty, you are not thinking about God."

I love this book, not only because it takes me even closer to God but it gives me the easiest solution to all of my problems.

What do I need to do to overcome my problems?
Just shift my focus from worries to God.

God provides me peace and leaving things in God's hands kills the resistance and allows the solution to flow to me easily.

The Law of attraction works best when you let go of attachments to your desires or problems.
Letting go also means the art of allowing.

And for me, the easiest way to let go of my attachments to my worries or wishes is to let God take care of them for me.

It's my best way to overcome anxiety every single time.

If you wish to read this book, you may download The Golden Key by Emmet Fox for free from here.

Here's a piece I wrote years before I read this book and is published in my book Poetic Letters To God:

anxiety kicks in
as soon as
i step out of my home
but god,
it reduces to fumes
just when i put
all my trust in you.
