The Process Of Becoming My Old Self Again

Back with my pen and paper when the world's asleep. I feel this time belongs to us — the writers, the artists who takes silence and turns it into art.
Yes, humans use em dashes. I remove them from my AI content but my journals are 'FILLED' with them. Maybe that's why AI uses it too. They sometimes come naturally when writing with a pen on paper.
Anyway, recently, my life's been weird. Joy one moment, trauma the next day. I couldn't keep being the 'me' my marriage made me. I am becoming my old self again. The self that didn't have the wife or daughter-in-law or mother tag attached to her. I love the mother tag the most but I truly believe old Shilpa would have been a much nicer, kinder & gentler mom to my baby.
It is not easy to find your old self again. At one point, you forget who you used to be. I was someone who believed in people's goodness & attracted nice people in my life.
My in-laws taught me otherwise — the world is full of bad people. Of course, I started attracting them.
And I got betrayed on levels I could only imagine. I took the belief of world being full of bad/wrong people but I never let go of my innocence.
Now, I became the most easily manipulated target of those deceptive minds. And I suffered.
People say everything that happens to us is karma. Okay, we are balancing our past life karma but what about those who are doing so bad to so many people yet living happily?
I believe in karma but I'm studying manifestation since 2014. I want to know if we are facing our karma, that means it's all fated and if everything is fated & destined, what role does manifestation play in our life.
I think my subconscious knows the answer but I am unable to put it in words yet. Maybe someday, answers will come to me and I will share my learnings here.
I am loving putting pen to paper so much for blog writing. I journal almost everyday but writing thoughts that I will eventually share on the internet brings out the writer in me.
When it comes to becoming my old self, the first step is this only: leaving AI content behind and bringing my voice back to my blog. I had forgotten I have so much to say. I am writing in my notebook from 2022. It's a thick 400 page A4 size spiral notebook. I love writing on its thick pages.
I started chasing perfection and thought AI wrote better than me — which it does, but it doesn't have my experience, my voice, my flaws. Perfection doesn't make a writing good, honesty does.
Pen and paper take me closest to my old self and I love going back to her, this time with more experience and lessons.
I also started gratitude journaling again, written chanting, daily journaling, affirmations, listening to high vibe songs and stories on Youtube.
My old self depended a lot more on God and gave least importance to people. Recently, people were living rent-free in my head. It's time to cancel their stay and plead God to make a home of Theirs in my heart, mind, and soul.
Oh and lastly, I also started posting my write-ups on Instagram without the fear of judgement AGAIN! @meetlife240 is back in game.
Sometimes, it takes one trauma, one bad experience to find your lost self again. This time, with consistency and discipline.
