Why I Created Be Your Own Coach Ebook



The internet is flooded with coaches.

And honestly, why not?

Anyone who makes full use of the massive information available online can build expertise and share their knowledge from the comfort of their home. Social media has also made coaching look like a very lucrative income stream. I felt that pull too.


But as much as I wanted to hire a coach, I couldn’t justify spending my lifetime of savings on coaching programs.


What I also noticed was this:

Most coaches were teaching how to coach others or how to get clients for a coaching business.


I fit into neither category.


So I kept asking myself a simple question.


Who has been my best coach so far?


The answer surprised me, but also felt obvious.


My journal.


Coaches help you look within yourself.

Coaching isn’t for everyone and that’s okay

I’m not saying coaching isn’t effective. It absolutely can be.


But the truth is:

Busy people, especially new moms, often feel lost after giving birth. They don’t necessarily need more advice. They need something self-paced, gentle, and grounding. Something that helps them find themselves again and rebuild their identity.


When I birthed my baby, I desperately wanted someone to guide me.


Instead, I was met with truckloads of “how to raise a baby” advice, most of which only created anxiety.


To make things harder, I wasn’t allowed to read or write for the first 40 days postpartum. Those days felt heavier than they should have, simply because I couldn’t write in my journal.


That’s when I realised something very clearly.


I missed my journal more than anything else.


My journal guides me.

It protects me.

It soothes me, like a lullaby I sing to myself on the pages.

I wish this guide existed back then
