I created The Control Checklist because I desperately needed a reminder that
I am not the keeper of the universe.
I am a mother.
A woman.
A soul who loves deeply.
And sometimes that love becomes fear.
And maybe you’re like me too.
My Story: When Love Turns Into Fear
I didn’t realise when it started.
When I over-sanitized my child’s hands for the fifth time in an hour.
When every cough made my heart race.
When I prayed in panic, begging God to protect everyone I loved.
When I mentally rehearsed every worst-case scenario before leaving home.
When checking on loved ones went from “care” to “compulsion.”
I genuinely thought I was being responsible.
But the truth was simple and painful:
I forgot what was mine to control
and what was God’s.
I was living in hypervigilance — that survival mode so many mothers silently live in.
I needed something that would bring me back to truth.
Back to my breath.
Back to God.
Back to peace.
That’s when The Control Checklist was born.
What Is The Control Checklist?
It’s a calming, printable short guide that helps you separate:
What I can control → my thoughts, actions, grounding, boundaries, healing
from
What I cannot control → the future, fate, accidents, other people’s lives, divine plan
Each line is soothing.
Each reminder melts anxiety.
