TRUSTING GOD: THE PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE

Writing Can Open More Doors Of Earning Than You Can Imagine

We’re living in the era of the internet — we have almost everything at our fingertips these days, don’t we?

And the internet is absolutely loaded with text. Even a photo/video seems incomplete without a caption or description.

Like sound is the common medium of conversation among people in the real world, text is the common medium for conversing in the virtual world.

So what better time than now to start writing online? No matter how many AIs are launched, the exclusivity and human touch that a writer can add to a piece can never be replicated by artificial intelligence.

Writers are needed everywhere online these days. You may have heard of only some mainstream ways of earning  through writing like:
  • Blogging
  • Book/eBook writing
  • Content writing
  • Copywriting
  • Translation
  • Transcription
  • Web content writing
  • Social media  writing
  • Writing for magazines, etc.

But let me tell you, if anyone else has not already, there are endless ways to earn through writing. Endless, yes, especially in this golden age of digital writing.

I was taken aback a few months ago when someone approached me to be their author assistant. They were working on a spiritual book and wanted me to assist with the same. The pay was good, the niche was excellent, and the client was super humble and kind, I couldn’t ask for more.

Not just this once, I have had many projects that I didn’t even know existed. They were all fun to work on.

My inbound leads have made me believe in the endless possibilities of writing online and earning through it.

My father-in-law often tells my husband and others that, “if Shilpa gives it her all, she would earn so so well constantly.” He believes in my work and my potential.

My problem? I am a multi-passionate creator. Some days I love writing; some days, designing; some days, reading; some days, editing photos and videos. I can’t give one thing my all. I love my time and freedom which is why I am an author and freelancer. I just cannot do a stable job for long. I get bored easily.

I love writing with all my heart and soul, but something just demotivates me when I wish to earn through words. I don’t even know what that thing is.

Anyway, the best advice I can give you right now is to start writing online. Be it, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Medium, or even your own blog, every platform has the potential to bring you your clients.

All you need is the internet, a good (not the best) command of English, and your love for writing. The last one is the most important part.

Don't worry about skills. They become better with practice, don't they?

Happy writing!
