TRUSTING GOD: THE PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE

5 Quick Tips For A Better Life In 5 Minutes

We often forget to pause and think about how we are feeling. But we all know how it feels when we are in a rush, stressed out or simply fed up with our daily routine. Our hectic lifestyle has become our way of living: we focus on work or school, we get home late and have to take care of the family and the household. There's no time for ourselves, for fun or relaxation.

Taking a deep breath and slowing our minds down can be a great solution to a better life. There are some simple things we can do to enjoy our time and well-being: take a walk, read a book, meditate or just listen to music. Five minutes of a better life can make the whole difference.

1. Take A Deep Breath

Is it possible to improve the quality of your life by taking a deep breath? Absolutely. We spend so much time worrying about all the things we have to do, all the things to fix, all the things that have gone wrong. But taking a deep breath, slowing down, and stopping to smell the roses are all important ways to improve the quality of our lives. It's all about recharging, regrouping, and recalibrating.

When we’re in a rush, we often overlook the little things that make a huge impact on our lives. Sometimes, it’s the little things that make the biggest differences in life. If you’re looking for a way to improve the quality of your life, try taking a deep breath.

2. Think of 3 Things You Are Grateful For Now

There are many ways to improve the quality of your life, but gratitude is probably one of the easiest. You don't need to go to a therapist or a group meeting or even buy a book. All you have to do is take a few minutes to consider the things you're grateful for. It could be your pet, your family, sunlight or a good cup of coffee. Or it could be a life-changing event, like finishing school or getting married.

The idea behind being grateful is to help you feel more positive about your life and appreciate the good things you have. It's a very simple exercise, but it has a positive effect on the quality of your life.

It’s so easy to overlook the little things in life, especially the things we take for granted. It’s easy to get so caught up in daily tasks or the hustle and bustle of our careers that we forget to stop and appreciate the little things. Not only will taking a few minutes to consider the good things in your life help you to unwind from the pressures of life, but it will also allow you to focus on the positive things in your life. Why? Because when you focus on the positive things in your life, you tend to attract more positivity into your life. Simple, right?

The next time you’re feeling overwhelmed by the stresses of daily life, try taking a few minutes to think about the things you’re grateful for. Not only will you feel better, but you’ll have a clearer perspective on the things that are truly important in your life.

3. Eat One Superfood With Every Meal

Eating superfoods is a way to make better choices and improve your health. The idea of superfoods is a relatively new one. Dietary patterns have changed drastically in the past few years and with them, our view of what we should be eating.

A few decades ago, we were encouraged to eat a low-fat diet, and we didn't think too much about the food we put in our bodies. Now we know that trans fats are bad for the heart, and we're encouraged to eat plenty of antioxidants and vitamins to ensure that we're getting the nutrients we need. That's where the idea of superfoods comes in.

One superfood with every meal? Yes, you heard that right. It's not as crazy as it sounds. It might not be easy, but it's totally possible. And it's definitely worth a try. In fact, it's not surprising that there would be a trend towards one superfood with each meal. After all, there are many health benefits of the same.

4. Walk Outside For Five Minutes

An exercise as simple as a five-minute walk has an unbelievably huge impact on our mental health. After a long day of work, all you need to do is to step outside and stroll for five minutes, if not more.

The moment you get into the flow of walking, you would not want to go back in soon. You will notice the change in your mood yourself. You will realise how your body and mind are reacting positively to the walk.

Walking, in my opinion, is the simplest yet most effective exercise. And the best part? It is the safest exercise for all ages, for almost all kinds of people. The mental and physical health benefits of walking cannot be restricted to a few words.

5. Give Yourself Five Minutes To Do Something Nice For Someone Else

You have five minutes of free time, what are you going to do with it? If you are like most people, you’ll probably scroll through your mobile phone. Perhaps you’ll look at your Facebook updates and browse through your newsfeed. If you’re one of the fortunate people who’s already left work, maybe you’ll take a walk outside to enjoy the nice weather. Or maybe you’ll sit outside and enjoy your favourite coffee drink. Maybe you’ll even spend a few minutes on Reddit. Maybe even, if you’re an author, you’ll spend a few minutes writing an article for your blog.

Whatever it is you choose to do with your five minutes, remember to ask yourself: "What would make life better?" A simple way to make life better is to give yourself five minutes to do something nice for someone else.
