What is the law of attraction?

In simple words, the law of attraction states that what we think about and focus on the most becomes our reality. Thoughts become things, you must have heard.

Of course, it is true but there is so much more to manifesting your desires into reality than just thinking about it constantly.

Our thoughts can be either positive or negative and sometimes, there is so much chaos in our minds that all the thoughts become blurred.

Our negative/uncertain thoughts and the fear of not seeing our desires manifested into reality can cause a lot of resistance which leads you to think that the law of attraction just does not work.

The law of attraction is always working, whether you consciously apply it or not.

Consciously applying the law of attraction involves three steps:

1. Ask
2. Believe
3. Receive

We can easily put our desire out into the universe, which completes the 'asking' part.

We start believing in the possibility of receiving those wishes in our reality but after a point, believing become so tough that we fail to even reach the third step which is receiving.

We put so much effort into believing that we forget believing is the heart's job more than it is the mind's job.

When you believe in something with all your heart, it surely becomes your reality.

Believing opens the gate for receiving. Believing does not require effort. Believing requires faith in something or someone greater than all of us. It can be the universe, God, higher self, creator — whichever name you prefer to give that power.

Every time I felt that my manifestations were stuck, every time I had a problem believing in my desires, every time I tried to control my circumstances, the only way out of such situations was to place all my trust in God.

I had to only believe that whatever God will do will be for my highest good whether that involves the manifestation of my wishes or not.
