TRUSTING GOD: THE PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE

Why Do Our Wishes Manifest When We Least Expect Them To Come True

Have you ever noticed that a wish which you had been waiting to come true since long suddenly came true when you had almost forgotten about that wish? It happens to me all the time. I once read these words by Andy Warhol: "As soon as you stop wanting something, you get it," and this quote became my favourite instantly.

If you know me, then you already know that I am a huge fan of the law of attraction which says that our thoughts become things. The Secret by Rhonda Byrne changed my life for good and I cannot appreciate the book enough. However, a lot of people are often sceptical about it. They are like, "how can all our wishes come true just by thinking about them?" That's the point! Just thinking about them is not enough and alone The Secret cannot provide you with the answers. You need to read the other books in the series too: The Power, The Magic, The Hero which teach the power of love and gratitude. I have watched countless videos, read numerous articles and millions of LOA (Law Of Attraction) posts on Instagram. I'm still learning to manifest perfectly.

Why wasn't I sceptical about The Secret? It's easy. I kept relating the things said in the book to my past experiences. Right before getting my hands on the book, I had experienced a totally unexpected and magical incident. And while reading The Secret, I realised that I had manifested it myself, unknowingly! So yes, if you're finding it hard to believe LOA, start relating it to your past events and incidents.

Coming back to why our wishes manifest the moment we least expect them to. Well, it's because, in that moment, we break all our attachments to the result; we leave it to the Universe–often even forget that we had made any such wish in the first place.

As long as we are attached to the result (our desire), we keep it time-bound (wanting it right at this moment or sooner than we're ready to receive it), and we remain worried during the process, our wishes hardly come true.

When we stay attached to the results––waiting, wondering, and worrying about why aren't we seeing results; where are we going wrong; what is it that's not working––we only push our object of desire away from us.

The moment we surrender, the moment we let go, the moment we start being happy without even having received it, it comes true almost like magically. And hence, we see our wish come true right when we stop expecting it to come true.

So, enjoy the process, stay calm during the waiting period, and trust the Universe to provide you with what you are asking for when you're ready to receive it.
